With a robust background in marketing and event management, I have honed my skills across various roles, culminating in my current position as Marketing Director, Community and Events at InductEV. My journey began with a BA in Marketing from Simpson College, complemented by minors in Corporate Communications and Spanish. I furthered my education with an MBA from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business. My professional experience spans leadership roles at the Open Infrastructure Foundation and OpenStack, where I managed global conferences and transitioned events to virtual platforms. Managed 15+ annual industry event sponsorships, coordinated speaker submissions, planned investor/customer events, initiated brand refresh, coordinated press releases, managed association memberships, created workflows, and supported internal employee engagement initiatives.

  Events lead for global software developer conferences including OpenInfra Summits and Project Teams Gatherings.
