With a Bachelor of Science in Informatics specializing in Human-Computer Interaction and a minor in Digital Arts from UC Irvine, I have developed a robust foundation in design and technology. As a Visual Designer, I freelance for diverse LA-based clients, focusing on QTPOC-owned spaces. Previously, I was a Product Designer at Fanhouse, where I led design initiatives for a creator monetization startup, impacting 1.8 million monthly active users. At UC Irvine, I served as Lead Product Designer for the INsite Lab, enhancing accessible technologies, and as Lead Visual Designer, where I significantly boosted user engagement. Working with a range of mediums and end products such as: logo and branding packages, physical and print merchandise, enterprise-level mockups and slide-decks, digital still images, short-form animated videos, etc.

  Led key design initiatives for Fanhouse: a B2C Andreessen-Horowitz-backed creator monetization startup with over 20M in funding and 10M in direct user payout. Ideated, designed, and launched features live to 1.8M monthly active website visitors and 14,000+ unique daily active mobile users, such as: comments and replies, user settings, account onboarding, profile revamp, user pronouns, and more. Operated as a highly responsive core team member, utilizing a generalist approach to product, visual, and brand design and user research within a cross-functional 25-person team.

  Led design stack for INsite (Inclusive Studio for Innovative Technology and Design) Lab, an academic research lab focused on providing accessible technologies and novel contributions to the field of Human-Computer Interaction. Managed 5 designers alongside routine design work to provide users with wayfinding assistive technology, impacting 400+ users across Orange County. Produced design system for website with components, states, and illustrated assets.

• Lead Visual Designer · UC Irvine08-01-2019 – 09-01-2021

  Led visual design and art direction for all operations, designed brand identity and brand guidelines, and provided visual designs for marketing and social media. Designed and developed key web pages with iterative stakeholder feedback for website hosting 1,500+ monthly active visitors. Increased user turnout and digital engagement by 800% and 200% respectively through self-directed design campaigns within first year of employment.

• User Experience (UX) Researcher · UC Irvine Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences02-01-2020 – 06-01-2021

  Collaborated with Google on graduate-level research project assessing illustrated corporate design images, with illustrations and accompanying alternative text descriptions featured on all Chromebooks released after Nov 2021 (~40M machines). Facilitated 9 focus groups and 19 interviews remotely with 25 total participants. Conducted 9 focus groups and 19 interviews, designed mockups, and analyzed 28+ hours of dialogue to produce affinity diagram with 1,800+ unique data points. Updated Google's Material Design imagery guidelines for inclusivity, in use to 3,400+ designers internally at Google.
