About

Hi there! I'm Jaya (jay-uh) and I'm hoping to leverage my background in policy analysis, human resources, and business operations in social impact roles. I thrive in dynamic environments and am committed to fostering innovative work environments and tackling challenges head-on. As a recent Business Administration and Public Policy graduate from the University of California, Riverside, I've honed in on my analytical thinking, strategic planning, and project management skills. With global insights gained from studying in Seoul, South Korea, and engaging in cross-regional internships, I bring diverse perspectives to the table. From crafting funding proposals to designing app interfaces, I embrace challenges with creativity. I am proficient in Microsoft Suites (Excel, Powerpoint, Access, etc.), Microsoft365 (Teams, SharePoint, Visio, etc.), Visualization Tools (PowerBI and Tableau), and Graphic Design Tools (Canva & Adobe Suites). I am constantly learning new skills and am currently expanding my knowledge on Smartsheet, Notion, and Figma! I believe in continuous learning and growth, both professionally and personally. I invest my time in interests like traveling, cooking, multimedia art, mentoring underclassmen, and staying up to date about public/global policy and business news. These pursuits led me to my passions for DEI, urban planning (smart cities), the circular economy, and health equity. Feel free to connect with me on Linkedin and/or at jayagazula.wk@gmail.com and explore how we can collaborate to make a difference!
