    Conducted full scale 3D studies to reduce wind loads on the LIGO India building in a modelled homogeneous atmospheric boundary layer using RANS and DDES which was validated with wind tunnel experiments. The optimal corner modification gave 35% reduction in aerodynamic and pressure coefficients with fewer low pressure regions in the wake. A further 15% reduction was achieved by using windbreaks with 30% porosity in front of the building.

    Worked on designing the Braking system on Solidworks along with a detailed quotation of the required parts for the braking system. Ran simulations on ANSYS to determine the mechanical loading on the braking system. Worked on different compressible solvers, including rhoCentralFoam and sonicFoam to determine the drag and lift on the pod for low Mach numbers.
