With a strong foundation in English and Sociology from the University of California, Davis, and Modesto Junior College, I have cultivated a diverse skill set in digital design, graphic design, and technical writing. As a Digital Design Student at Bay Valley Tech, I mastered tools like Adobe Suite, Figma, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript, creating and refining projects based on user feedback. My role as a Graphic Designer for the Aggie Baking Club involved producing event graphics and collaborating with a supervisor. At TC CAMP INC, I researched and wrote articles on technical communications, working closely with industry professionals. Additionally, my experience as a Food Service Worker at Pizza Pasta Plus, Inc. honed my customer service and operational skills.

• Digital Design Student · Bay Valley Tech - Free Code Academy12-01-2023 – 08-01-2024

  Being a digital designer at Bay Valley Tech allowed students and professionals to meet remotely and in person to discuss what skills we learned, our projects and questions. We earned certificates in tools like Adobe Suite, Figma, HTML/CSS and Javascript to design our own email campaigns, websites and apps. These projects and prototypes we built were survey tested and changed with the feedback we collected.

  I attended a weekly meeting to address our goals, while producing graphics alongside a supervisor for upcoming events for the Aggie Baking Club.

• Interned Writer · TC CAMP INC06-01-2022 – 09-01-2022

  While working for Janice Summers and Liz Fraley, I had met with one or both of them every week to update them on my progress on my research in upcoming technical communications, or new ways that information is being conveyed to different audiences. During the week, I would write an article analyzing how technical communications was used, which would be edited by another team member, Janice Summers and Liz Fraley and myself.

  While working here, I made pizzas, helped customers, and prepared ingredients. I also did things like clean dishes and the pizzeria itself.
