  As the inaugural in-house UX/UI Designer at Vertis, I drive the growth of this innovative startup by creating intuitive, visually engaging solutions tailored to our data-centric clients. Collaborating closely with engineering and product teams, I help define product specifications and functionality. With expertise in B2B SaaS and data visualization, I conceptualize and design key features, visualizations, and maps based on customer insights. My deliverables include wireframes, user flows, and developer-ready designs in Figma, ensuring clear communication of design and interaction concepts. I also introduced an Atomic Design-inspired design system, complete with documented guidelines for components, color, motion, logo usage, and more, to maintain high standards and streamline engineering workflows. Additionally, I contributed to marketing efforts to reinforce brand consistency. My design work has supported pilots and longer-term engagements with industry leaders like Airbnb, Autodesk, and WeWork.

• Experience Design Lead · FanAI Inc.12-01-2017 – 09-01-2022

  FanAI is a startup specializing in measuring online and offline sports sponsorship attribution. I collaborated closely with the Chief Product Officer, engineering, and data science teams to build the platform from inception, introducing new features that strengthened FanAI’s data-driven insights. As Lead UX Designer, I managed the full UX process, including stakeholder meetings, workshops, competitive research, user journeys, testing, and information architecture. I created site maps, wireframes, and low- and high-fidelity mockups in Sketch, while using InVision and SketchCloud for clickable prototypes, and Zeplin for seamless developer handoff. My responsibilities extended to QA, where I tracked issues in Shortcut. I also built a comprehensive design system for engineering, establishing guidelines that ensured consistency and high-quality standards across the platform. My design work supported pilot programs with major clients, including PepsiCo, with whom FanAI placed among the top startups in their incubator. Teaming up with PepsiCo at the Advertising Research Foundation’s “Attribution & Analytics Accelerator” Conference in 2021, FanAI received high praise from Justin Toman, Head of Sports Marketing at PepsiCo, for addressing the critical question of true ROI on sports partnerships. PepsiCo’s satisfaction also led to further collaboration with brands like Gatorade, cementing FanAI’s credibility in the sports sponsorship space.

• UI/UX Designer · ClubLabs03-01-2016 – 12-01-2017

  Hired as Lead for a new mobile design initiative at Clublabs (AAA’s innovation lab), I spearheaded the UI/UX for the AAA app (iOS and Android) and a comprehensive website redesign. I managed three development teams (Pivotal, INA, and internal teams), providing acceptance criteria, retrospectives, and contributing to iteration planning sessions. My responsibilities included facilitating whiteboarding sessions, workshops, and design reviews to ensure high standards across projects. Using Sketch for mockups and InVision for clickable prototypes, I oversaw both low- and high-fidelity deliverables. In addition to design responsibilities, I played a key role in team expansion and mentorship, helping hire and onboard UI/UX designers and UX researchers. I actively mentored team members, fostering a collaborative environment and enhancing our company culture. Together, we built a robust Design System to ensure consistency and quality across products.   Brought in as a freelance UI designer to help design UI and UX components of their new ACE app. Worked directly with management, design agencies, and multiple teams of engineers by providing design ideas and usability direction on their mobile and web-based applications.

  Brought in to design and evolve Emdeon’s web-based medical billing applications during the company’s rebrand to Change Healthcare. As an individual contributor, I was responsible for all UX aspects of the platform, applying UX best practices to improve overall usability. Working with an updated design system, I created all deliverables in Photoshop, ensuring consistency with the rebrand. I collaborated closely with the engineering team, participating in all relevant meetings and ensuring seamless integration of design and functionality.
