Hello, I'm Leo, a Designer Engineer with a passion for creating meaningful digital experiences. My 7+ years journey in design began in high school and has since blossomed into a career marked by creativity, innovation, and a deep understanding of user needs. From co-founding Simpli Studio to leading Web and digital efforts for IBM's TechXchange events, my career is a tapestry of varied, rich experiences. I am deeply committed to social impact through volunteering with Hamburgada do Bem, an NGO dedicated to supporting underprivileged children.   Nomad is a fintech company that provides financial services such as a bank account and an investment platform. It develops an application where users can open an account and can use it to travel, buy, save money, and invest in the USA. It also offers remittances and a debit card.

• Co-Founder · Simpli2023-04-01 –

  As a co-founder and head of design and Webflow development at Simpli, I oversee all aspects of creative direction and digital experience, leading a team of 3 designers and 2 developers. I collaborate closely with our clients to craft high-level strategy and technical specifications for new products and features. As an expert in Webflow, I prototype and build dynamic, CMS-driven websites and web apps for both internal tools and client-facing platforms. Key projects include designing and developing Webflow MVPs for 10+ startup clients, leading a rebrand of CoInvestGPT website, and mentoring junior designers.

  As the lead web and digital focal for IBM's TechXchange global events team, I oversaw all web development, design, and digital marketing for technical conferences. Responsibilities included developing event websites, creating web content, and analyzing website traffic to optimize conversion rates.

  I was responsible for designing and building event websites and digital experiences for IBM's TechU technical events team. My role included creating wireframes, building responsive sites, and optimizing web conversion funnels, contributing to over 30,000 event registrations.
