About

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations at The University of Alabama, expected to graduate in 2025, I am actively involved in various leadership roles and community service initiatives. As the Community Service Committee Co-Chair for Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, I coordinate events to engage members with the Tuscaloosa community. My role as a Field Assistant and Intern at Everytown for Gun Safety involves organizing events, strategizing national leadership calls, and fostering connections with historically black universities to address gun violence. I have also interned with the U.S. House of Representatives, working in Congresswoman Terri Sewell's Tuscaloosa District office. Additionally, I am a Scholar with the Jackie Robinson Foundation, where I develop leadership and practical life skills. My experiences reflect a commitment to community engagement and advocacy, aiming to create equitable solutions and foster meaningful connections.

  Organize and lead events for Black History Month internally and externally including a summit in which elected officials, gun violence survivors, and community organizers are able to share their stories. Strategize and plan biweekly national leadership calls for over 1500+ student leaders to share engaging information about current Students Demand Action campaigns and foster connections from the volunteer base across the nation. Develop an ongoing outreach campaign fostering connections with Students Demand Action and historically black universities and colleges building an equitable solution for the gun violence crisis in America by connecting with campus representatives and providing Everytown for Gun Safety resources. Assist in various field activities and support the organization's mission.
