  Provide leadership and direction in the planning, implementation and administration of the MCH Block Grant Program to state and jurisdiction grantees. Partner with State and Jurisdiction grantees to address needs of the MCH Population. Provide technical assistance and consultation for State Title V Directors in such areas as program planning, establishment of goals and objectives, standards of care, evaluation, and development of consistent and accurate data collection mechanisms to address program reporting requirements. Conduct routine environmental surveillance and shares important information regarding local, state, and/or regional needs of the MCH population with staff and leadership.

  Led the National Coordinating Center for the Regional Genetics Networks (NCC) efforts to improve access to genetic services for underserved populations. Collaborated with cross-functional teams to develop project plans, set milestones, and establish clear goals and objectives within the domains of: genetic policy education (including state and federal legislation, Medicaid policy), genetics and genomics education targeting non-genetics professionals, diversity, equity, and inclusion, genetics workforce assessment, data collection and evaluation programs to assess the impact of initiatives including population outcomes, and quality improvement Monitored project progress and provided regular updates to partners, ensuring transparency and alignment with project objectives. Developed multi-disciplinary resources and tools to reach underserved populations through peer-reviewed journals, lectures and presentations, and web platforms.
