I’m a creative entrepreneur, artist, and educator passionate about bridging fine art with modern creative practices. My journey began early-- at 15, I launched my first business designing handmade equipment for the niche sport of rabbit hopping. That experience sparked a lifelong interest in entrepreneurship and a deep appreciation for supporting creative businesses of all kinds. In 2023, I officially founded my art business as an LLC, bringing together my love for watercolor and plein air painting, pet portraiture, design, and creative strategy. With over 14 years of experience in watercolor, I now share my expertise through classes, workshops, and private lessons, helping others build both their skills and their confidence. At the core of my work is a belief in the power of authentic creativity. I believe art should be both approachable and enriching-- for artists, hobbyists, and the creatively curious. My teaching emphasizes technical knowledge and understanding of materials, empowering students to explore painting with a broader toolkit for creating. In my personal practice, I draw inspiration from nature, pigment history, and the hands-on skills of painting. I’m especially interested in the intersection of artistic tradition, materials, processes, and contemporary creativity with modern-day technology and materials. Plein air painting has become something I am really passionate about, as it connects my love of painting with my passion for the outdoors. I’m currently open to commissions, collaborations, and consulting opportunities that align with my values and creative mission.
