With a robust educational background in commerce and media studies from The University of British Columbia and a Business Design degree from d.MBA, I have carved a niche in product design and management. Currently serving as the Director of Product at Circuit Stream, I oversee product strategy and development. My previous role as Senior Product Designer at Yahoo Finance saw me spearheading the design of over 20 initiatives, including a successful Discovery feature and a financial literacy tool. I played a crucial role in enhancing Yahoo Finance's app ratings and standardizing its design system across platforms. My experience extends to leading product design for Circuit Stream's Enterprise Web App and Community product. My work is characterized by a focus on user experience, design systems, and cross-platform coherence, contributing significantly to the companies I've been part of.

  Lead Product Designer for the Yahoo Finance Native Apps (iOS/Android). Launched one of Finance’s most successful features by designing a brand new Discovery experience seeing an incredible engagement lift. Launched and led the design of over 20 initiatives in 2 years including a financial literacy feature, a new search experience, redesigned plus conversion funnel, a new discover feature, and an optimized information architecture for our quote summary page. Increased Play Store ratings from 3.5 to 4.3 in 3.5 months, focusing on optimizing user experience for the primary features of the app, the Quote Summary Page. Played a pivotal role in building Yahoo Finance’s design system on Figma, streamlining workflows and consistency across design processes for designers, and enhancing designer-to-developer handoff efficiency. Led the standardization of the design system between Android and iOS teams, increasing cross-platform coherence by 55.10% through color and typography. In 2022, represented Yahoo Finance in a prominent panel session focused on UI Design, Design Systems, and Accessibility Design, hosted by InVision.
