Hello, my name is Wuke Zhou, and I’m a Product Designer with nearly 8 years of design experience crafting user-centered, data-driven designs. I began my career as a marketing web designer at Fortinet, where I transitioned into a Web Support Engineer role after earning a front-end development certification. This shift allowed me to integrate UI/UX design, coding, and marketing strategy to enhance Fortinet’s global site and optimize user experiences. My passion for product design led me to pursue graduate studies at Pratt Institute, where I specialized in user-centered design with a focus on data analytics and visualization. These skills have been foundational to my work at companies like Comcast, Google, and VMware. At VMware, I worked on Edge Cloud Orchestrator and a Kubernetes-based Application Platform that focused on developer and engineering experiences. I also collaborated with the Clarity design system team, where I gained experience building accessible and inclusive design solutions that aligned with DEI principles. Additionally, my freelance work with multiple startups has provided me with valuable exposure to fast-paced environments and diverse design challenges. Currently, I’m with MirWork, an AI-powered recruiting startup, where I’m contributing to innovative B2B2C designs featuring AI-driven agents. Over the past 8 years, my UX philosophy has been rooted in balancing user needs with business objectives. I believe great design not only enhances the user experience but also drives measurable business growth. This belief has guided me in crafting solutions that are intuitive, scalable, and impactful. Beyond my professional work, I’m deeply committed to contributing to the design community.
