• Senior Product Designer · HP2023-06-01 – 2024-07-01

  • Defined and performed a new role of CP UI Lead for Setup & Onboarding within the Control Panel UX team. In a span of 2 years in this role, successfully shipped key S&O workflows for 10+ printer programs, with global launches of 8 programs till date. • Independently conceptualized a process transformation initiative by assessing the current working process for gaps and then created an improved, streamlined way of working. Facilitated strategic conversations at Management and Leadership levels and ensured governance, resulting in portfolio-wide impact such as reduced time to market average by 4 months, increased productivity & efficiency by 32% in 5 global teams and increased NPS scores for printer programs from Passives (6/7) to Promoters (9/10). • Spearheaded critical redesign initiatives after major customer escalations, building design strategy and workflows to upgrade S&O experience for Big Deal SMB customers.   • Designed printer control panels across multiple user segments collaborating globally. • Successfully shipped 4 new printer programs viz. HP LaserJet Pro 4300 series and 3200 series. Products reviewed and featured on Digital Trends and PC Mag and rated 4/5 on Amazon • Built a consumer-facing printable content website HP Printables, leading IX design and other new value providing initiatives to grow the HP business. Aided conceptualization and pitch process that directly led to the successful project buy-in from HP Leadership. • Through the CP UI Roadmap team, facilitated UX Research studies through planning, moderation, analysis & synthesis and presentation stages. Types involved exploratory, comparative and end-to-end usability testing, conducted in both Developed and Emerging markets until launch.

  • Owned end to end UX and Visual Design for enterprise systems and services for key clients in various domains viz. Pharma, Finance, Travel. • Directed and conducted pitch presentations to get in projects during potential client’s studio visits. Converted client engagements as a direct result of pitch presentations. • Facilitated Design Thinking workshop with key stakeholders in Europe that lead to a 2 month-participatory project kickoff, with stakeholder teams consisting of 30+ scientists, resulting in digital transformation impact for client’s core research processes. • Key project focused on using deep analytics to predict delays in clinical trial processes. As a solo designer on the team, represented design in the extended client project team. Project case study featured on Bloomberg, PMLive and the Accenture website.

  • Internship conducted as part of a tiger team consisting of myself, a MBA and a CS student. • Orchestrated tangible solutions through design thinking and research on social impact problem themes. • Collaborated with local government & industry associations to enable measurement of unorganized sector skill gap between demand and supply. • Conducted on-ground design research and ethnographic studies, interacted with varied social strata ranging from senior government officials to shopfloor/daily wage workers.
