The service

Pangea (pangea.app) is a hiring front door: an AI agent that finds candidates from Pangea's talent network, arranges interviews, and sets up contracts and billing when you hire. By using it you agree to these terms. If you're using Pangea for a company, you're agreeing on its behalf.

Accounts

Sign-in is by email magic link — keep access to your inbox secure, because the link is the key. Talent interact through signed invite links sent to their email; those links are personal and shouldn't be forwarded.

Pricing and payment

Pricing is transparent: every rate you see is the talent's own rate plus a flat 15% Pangea fee, always shown together. Talent keep 100% of their rate. Payments run through Stripe against the payment method you save; for contracts billed weekly, we email you before each charge. Billing disputes: email us within 30 days of the charge and we'll sort it out.

Talent are independent

Talent on Pangea are independent professionals, not Pangea employees. Pangea provides matching, scheduling, contracts, and payment rails — you're responsible for the working relationship, and we don't guarantee any particular candidate, availability, or outcome.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no scraping candidate data, no attempting to identify or contact talent outside the product before a hire, no using the chat for anything other than genuine hiring, and no circumventing Pangea to avoid the fee on engagements sourced here within 12 months.

The AI agent

Candidate matching and chat responses are generated by an AI system. We work to keep them accurate and grounded in real profile data, but they can be imperfect — verify anything material (rates, availability, experience) during the interview.

Liability

The service is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, Pangea's total liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be noted here and emailed to active clients. Continued use after a change means acceptance. See also our Privacy Policy. Questions: adam@pangea.app.
