With a diverse background in communications and marketing, I currently serve as the Communications Coordinator for the Okanagan Basin Water Board, where I manage public relations and support outreach initiatives. My educational journey includes a Certificate in Dialogue and Civic Engagement from Simon Fraser University and a Certificate in Crisis Communications from the University of Ottawa. I also hold a Mental Health First Aid Certificate from the Mental Health Commission of Canada. As a freelance Marketing & Communications Specialist since 2019, I have provided strategic planning and content creation services. I founded iCareAboutChildCare.ca and the Waitlisted Project, advocating for accessible child care in Canada. My early career included a role as a Restaurant Supervisor at Hooded Merganser Restaurant, where I honed my skills in staff coordination and customer service.
