Hi, I’m Amia Korman—a digital marketer with 4+ years of experience building highly personalized content strategies for musicians, theatre-makers, and entrepreneurs. As a multi-hyphenate artist, I've worn my fair share of creative and executive hats. My love of performing and writing led me to a love of directing and producing, and somewhere in that conversion, creative marketing and brand design naturally came into the picture. What good is a great idea without an effective way to spread the word? I believe that marketing, especially in the creative industries, is a collaborative, sticky, endlessly fascinating beast. With hundreds of tools at our fingertips to get what's in our minds out into the world, discipline is as vital as whimsy. Courage is as important as restraint. Inspiration is as powerful as a detailed plan. Just like any large-scale artistic endeavor, whether it be mounting a new play or recording an album, sharing your work with the world with the hope of expansion takes a great plan and a dedicated team. As the founder of Precious Cargo, a boutique digital marketing agency geared towards independent artists at all stages of digital development, I spend my days ideating the kind of content specific enough to reach potential superfans, developing comprehensive content strategies and guiding clients in the day-to-day of growing their online presence. At Invasion Group, I strategize digital communications large and small for a highly varied roster of musical artists & thought leaders. As a working actor & recording artist, I apply these skills daily-- from big-picture strategy to graphic design and copywriting-- to the elevation of my own creative projects. It's a joy and a privilege to do so in service of great music, great art, great theatre, and more.
