I founded The Candle Bar Su in 2020, offering unique candle-making workshops, and Flying Dresses Suriname in 2023, providing travelers with memorable photo shoot experiences. My role as Content Director for Surifesta allowed me to create engaging content for Surifesta Radio, collaborating with talented individuals in the entertainment industry. As a Production Manager for Media Factured, I managed the 'Jamming in The Kitchen' series, ensuring seamless production processes. Previously, I served as a Sales and Marketing Assistant at Jacana Amazon Wellness Resort, where I managed promotional activities and social media channels.   Creating content for Surifesta Radio is an absolute joy! It’s a surreal experience to finally meet the voices I’ve been tuning into on the radio for as long as I can remember. Fun fact: @radio10magicfm and I share the same age, so when I say as long as I can remember, I’m not exaggerating. Now, diving into my Surifesta journey, there’s something about witnessing people turn their passion into their profession, especially in the entertainment business. They often don’t receive the credit they deserve, as their work is sometimes perceived as just a hobby. However, organizing events is far from simple, it involves important details like logistics, safety, finance, and management. Thanks to Surifesta Radio, I get a firsthand look at incredible individuals orchestrating amazing events. Although I may not be the most vocal presence as I work behind the camera, collaborating with fellow creators is a delightful experience.   I was brought on board by Media Factured (A Full-service Media Agency in Amsterdam) to serve as the Production Manager for the 'Jamming in The Kitchen' series. My responsibilities entailed overseeing the entire production process and coordinating all activities to ensure the availability of adequate resources. Collaborating closely with the Executive Producer, I devised schedules, estimated costs, and prepared budgets to ensure that our workflow aligned with required deadlines. In essence, my role encompassed problem-solving, quality control, time management, human resources coordination, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations. These efforts collectively contributed to the timely completion of the film by our production team.

• Sales and Marketing Assistant · Jacana Amazon Wellness Resort10-01-2019 – 03-01-2020

  I got promoted to Sales and Marketing Assistant and fulfilled this position for five months. Due to the start of the Covid-19 virus positions were being cut off and mine happened to be one of them. My duties were assisting with promotional activities, writing reports, company brochures and similar documents, organizing and hosting presentations and customer visits, managing all social media channels (including content creating). My highlight was organizing an event and running the department while my manager was representing our resort at the Tourism Fair in Utrecht. I was assisted by the General Manager.
