As the Executive Director of Bioeconomy Puerto Rico, I lead the organization's efforts to promote and support the development of a sustainable and inclusive bio-based economy in the island, leveraging science, technology, and health expertise. With more than 10 years of experience in business development, customer success, and project management, I have a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions and creating value for diverse stakeholders in the biotech and health sectors. I am passionate about improving processes and solving complex problems and challenges, using my strong analytical and technical skills, as well as my formal education in molecular biology and biomedical research. I am also fluent in English and Spanish, and have excellent communication and presentation skills. My mission is to advance the bioeconomy in Puerto Rico and beyond, contributing to the social and environmental well-being of the communities I serve.

Scientific Projects included potential implications of human Alpha-7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptor genetic variants to the pathogenesis and treatment of HIV associated neurocognitive disorders and characterization of cancer associated somatic mutations from the Alpha-7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptor.
