• Global Director Of User Experience · Schibsted2017-11-01 – 2019-11-01

  Executive manager leading the UX department at Adevinta (Former Schibsted). Put in place the UX operations and user-centric vision the online marketplaces, defining and supporting the global Product and Tech strategy. Lead 16 UX Teams across Europe and Latin America, an organization with more than 200 UX collaborators. Put in place a Leadership Development program for product and design leads based on user experience methods, coaching and mindfulness techniques. Responsible for maturing the UX practice and growing UX professionals through the implementation of different programs at scale. Some of the online marketplaces I managed include Leboncoin, Fotocasa, Infojobs, Willhaben, and Subito.

• UX Director, Spain · Schibsted2015-09-01 – 2017-11-01

  User Experience Director at Schibsted Spain. Built the UX Team and set up operations across the Spanish marketplaces, a team of more than 30 user experience professionals including Heads of UX, Visual Designers, UX Researchers, and Interaction Designers. 1. Mentored and trained the UX leadership (4 heads of UX). 2. Built a high performing team, developing the UX community of practice. 3. Set KPIs to measure the maturity of the UX practice. 4. Mentored team members towards growth and success. 5. Crafted the user experience strategy and best practices. 6. Put in place a design system and common user research repository. 7. Enabled knowledge transfer to all team members. 8. Recruited team members and put in place training plans for different teams. Success stories include: Created the UX department: hired, trained, established work processes and integrated it in a Lean and Agile environment. Implemented the UX Research Program of Schibsted Spain which includes the allocation of 2 UX Labs and a “UX Field Trips” program for all the company. Developed a KPIs structure to develop the community of practice and a way of measuring UX success. Successfully linked different verticals business goals with UX goals within the matrix organization. Delivered Lean UX training for UX, Product, and Tech.

  Set up UX Research operation and led UX research. Defined Product concepts based on research insights. Conducted User Research for companies like Transport for London and the MET Police. Patented many digital product concepts in the field of IoT (Internet of Things) and Smart cities.

  As part of the Interaction Design team, conducted user research on the floor of trade to support the last transition from physical trading to online trading.
