Long before podcasts were a thing, I was listening to cassette tapes about marketing and sales in the car on the way to elementary school. I created marketing materials in Microsoft Publisher in middle school for fun. Asked for a web design book for Christmas as a 4th grader. Sent a Beanie Baby around the world to people I met on Beanie forums at age 12. Needless to say... I've been a marketer since day 1. Over the past decade, I built a business around it - supporting business owners in creating massive revenue growth by telling their own stories well. I grew it to $4M+ in lifetime revenue and have owned it all: content, SEO, email automation, paid campaigns, and the sales calls at the end of the funnel... (oh and delivery & fulfillment on the other side of the sale). I also serve on the executive board for Delta Gamma Fraternity, a 280,000+ member international organization, where I lead marketing & communications strategy, brand stewardship, data governance, and organizational effectiveness initiatives. I've loved the ride of entrepreneurship and everything I learned from it, and now I'm looking for my next move.
