About

Hi, I am Shiyi, a UX designer and creative technologist based in Los Angeles, working across new media and human-machine interfaces. My practice sits at intersections of art, emerging technology and research to create user-centered and community-based user experiences on and beyond the screens. With strong interests in constructing interpersonal communications, participations and new narratives through XR, installations, I explored the new possibilities of interface, and physicality of human body in interactive experiences. Besides my practice as a designer, I have worked as an exhibition curator, freelance painter and photographer.
