Hi there! I'm Momitu, recently graduated with a BSc in Chemistry at the University of Waterloo. My academic foundation spans the realms of chemistry and marketing, fostering a unique blend of scientific expertise and strategic acumen. With hands-on experience in research in chemistry, coupled with my foray into the dynamic world of marketing in fintech, I've honed a versatile skill set.   Conducted research under Dr. Conrard Tetsassi in quantum molecular modelling to optimize molecular structure of chromophobe using Gaussian, Python, Quantum ESPRESSO. Managed extraction and preparation of samples for molecular analysis by performing TD-DFT calculation for simulation of excited state electronic structure and predicting fluorescence properties.

  Worked under the supervision of Stacey Lavery in CHEM224L. Performed qualitative and quantitative analysis using GC-MS, LC-MS, FTIR UV-Vis spectroscopy and HPLC of various chemistry projects and student laboratory exams. Prepared buffers, calibration standards, and other wet-chemistry techniques, ensuring precision in measurements, instrumental calibration and compliance with safety standards, recognizing out-of-trend results through method validation.
