About

I have a wide and unique set of design, digital strategy, and coding skills with a focus on designing for non-English languages and scripts. I strive to be a detail-oriented problem solver from teaching myself how to code to constantly learning new platforms, which have led me to succeed in projects of various scales. I am especially interested in the internet freedom space as it relates to using design to combat censorship circumvention. My experience spans across digital product management and strategy, with a strong emphasis on UX/UI design and analytics in media environments. In 2024, I earned the News Product Management Certification to further strengthen my ability to lead media-focused product initiatives.

• Editorial Product Manager · Radio Free Asia01-01-2023 –

  Editorial Product Manager at Radio Free Asia — led cross-functional initiatives across nine language services to move editorial products from concept to launch. Proposed, launched, and evaluated processes for developing new content formats, production workflows, distribution channels, and newsroom tools. Spearheaded a company-wide transition to podcasts, including a detailed project plan, milestones, cross-functional coordination, and journalist training. Developed internal analytics dashboards to track article and task workflows, and collaborated on CMS migration to align engineering and editorial teams.

  Prepare UX/UI mockups, marketing assets, and provide creative solutions for censorship circumvention integration into mobile app. Project management of OTT app project from development to launch. Revamp podcast system and workflow through a redesign project for over a dozen podcasts and training language staff.

  Developed social campaigns for nine news services operating in difficult media environments. Implemented and optimized accelerated mobile pages increasing traffic and SEO.
